You must hold a the correct type of driving licence and be the legal age for driving in the UK. Relevant document will be checked by your instructor before you drive.
Pupils must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If your instructor has any doubts and see sign of this, they will not allow you to drive the training car until they are sure you are fit and legal to drive.
Prescribed medication which could affect your driving should be brought the attention of your instructor and DVSA.
48 hours notice MUST be given to your instructors to cancel or reschedule booked lessons. This MUST be done verbally, not by email or SMS text. Late cancellations are charged at the normal hourly rate.
When your instructor turns up on the agreed appointment time the will wait 15 minutes for you to show up. After this time if you do not show up, they will leave and you WILL be changed in full for the lesson.
Your instructor will always aim to arrive on time. However, in the event of a breakdown, accident or traffic congestion lesson times may need to either changed or cancelled. If your instructor has to unfortunately cancel a lesson you will not be charged a fee for this.
Lessons MUST be paid for in advanced at least 48 hours before the arranged appointment time.
Wheelz Automatic Driving School reserves to right to postpone driving lessons if the instructor considers this to be dangerous due to the weather of road conditions for safety.
driving test cancellation
For practical test cancelled by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), no refund will be given for the lessons and hire of the driving school car. Claims MUST be made directly to the DVSA. Find out about this at www.gov.uk/driving-test/test-cancelled-bad-weather
If your instructors deems you not ready to take the practical driving test, the have the right to refuse the use of their training car. Only driving test ready candidates will be taken by the trainer to test for safety reasons.
